Valued and Loved

My favorite story of being valued by my parents and my “surrogate parents” is that whenever we would eat, they would give me the best part. Like the bigger portion of fish. And they would serve me first before eating.

This is why I am drawn to generous people. You would know if that person is giving you his or her best. I am not talking just about material or financial. You will see if the person wants to please you; wants to give you her best; wants to see you happy by his or her giving.

Unfortunately, a lot of women do not believe that they deserve the best; a blessed life. A lot of times, it is not just a matter of seeking the right relationships with humans, but developing a close relationship with Father God.

Father God knows how to speak to your heart, the best way possible. He gives you dreams and desires. He always has the “best part” in store for us.
